Random Daily Updates

I have been meaning to put up a post since yesterday but I underestimated the holiday blog post and how long it will actually take me to go through it all. I have been working on this post since Monday and I am still on Day 2 of our trip! Day 2!!! We were away for two weeks! Can you imagine! I have to go through so much but I can’t help and enjoy the process. There truly is some sort of power in writing where once you start typing, memories seems to flood and they are all processed through my fingers and onto the keyboard, coming back to life through typed words.

Work has been nothing but lovely for me as far as the week goes. Thanks to the Christmas season being just around the corner, most businesses are readying themselves to shut down for the Christmas season. I am still enjoying the 11 AM to 7 PM shift but because of this very busy week for me, it makes it quite difficult to be on time for most of the parties I need attending to.

Last night, we’ve had the Singles For Christ Christmas party and as always, its full of laughter and love. We've had parlour games, presentations and men we were so not ready to give any kind of presentations but sometimes, you just have to get up there and sing your heart out! Got nothing to lose sister! Then tonight is baby sister’s graduation and graduation dinner which starts at 6.30 PM, obviously I will be arriving late! I can’t wait for her to see what we got her for her graduation! Eeeeeek! Tomorrow is our work Christmas party which starts at 6.30 PM and I don’t finish until 7.00 PM, again which means I’ll be late once more for another Christmas party.

On a good note, my brother comes home this weekend! Woot woot! I have not seen him in forever so it will be lovely to finally catch up with him and of course, get my pasalubong! He’s been overseas serving, or traveling around having fun, I don’t know which one is which, maybe both! Either or, I’m just glad that he’s finally home.

Speaking of Christmas, I am nowhere near finishing my Christmas presents shopping! I am so dead! Why do I always have to leave everything on the very last minute? I mean, timing is another issue for me and then there are the Christmas parties here and there, making it almost impossible for me to have some extra time for shopping.

Above all, I’m still grateful that work load has eased off a bit and I have more reason to socialize over this lovely holiday. Also, we’re in the process of planning the next holiday for next year and I won’t be giving updates on that, at all. I like to keep most of my travel plans to myself and to my travel buddy of course, only because my mind changes every two seconds and it’s not even going to be worth it.

Our journey will vary everyday and that is the beauty of life, no day will ever be the same. Never lose sight of your goal and remember to enjoy the journey along the way, once we achieve our goal, what stays in our heart is the things we’ve been through to be able to get to where we are now and it makes everything worth it!
