It’s now Thursday so that means tomorrow is our last working day for the year! I can’t express my excitement so I will use GIFs to show them. And yes, particularly in that order.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than that, I received a wonderful news today that we all get to go home at 5 PM tomorrow, and guess who starts at 11 AM tomorrow? Here are more GIFs to show how grateful I am!

This week is almost over and I still have a lot more of shopping to do and I’m panicking a little but yo!
Everyone has gone home but me; I had no choice but to sit here and blog. I got on with the rest of my tasks and they are down to nothing so that means I have less of a job to get on with tomorrow. This really is the good of side of working the late shift, you get to do more work when everyone is gone because you have time for yourself and you have better focus.
Thinking about the fact that the year is about to tick off; I feel the itch to tick a few more of the countries I’ve always wanted to visit. The week has gone agonizingly slow because there is less for us to do most especially during the Christmas time. Because of all the quiet times I have in my hands, my mind tend to wander here and there and one that keeps on coming up is the question, “so where are we going next year?”

We already have something in mind but I can’t help but wonder, what else is out there apart from what I already have on the list? My boyfriend and I are just two average citizens of New Zealand working the 9 AM to 5 PM shift and earning just enough for our daily expenses and personal bills. We’re not born with all the riches in the world so we can’t just travel the world whenever we feel like it. We do need to work hard and spend smartly. There are a lot of things to consider but I believe most of us who wants to see what the world has to offer find themselves in the same situation as we are currently on.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to travel and go to places you’ve always dreamed of. In my personal experience, my parents told me to always be smart about how I spend my money and to save up as much as we can while we are young. I always love their advice because I know; all of it is to make sure that I live a comfortable life. I can never reason with my parents, I choose to travel because if it’s something that your heart desires, it is almost un-explainable and you only know within your heart the reasons why you choose to travel. Words are never sufficient, so yes, arguing is pointless because I will never know what to say and even if I do know what to say, I wouldn’t know how to say it.

Nonetheless, I am super excited planning this upcoming trip and share it with you guys; don’t know who you are but you know what I mean. I’m still working on our Day 2 trip in Maldives, can’t wait for it to go live soon! Praise God for giving my boyfriend with some motivation, he was finally able to finish day 1.
